Q & A: Tune PDF Print E-mail

Tune I figured that I better not get to far with the get to knows before I did one with out fearless leader..so here it is!

Thanks Tune, for sharing with us!

Question 1
How did Browns 24/7 come to be?

Browns 24/7 came to be with a man and a dream. LOL... Seriously. Originally, it was going to be a main hub for Browns Backers Presidents and Members, so that we could all give each other tips on fund raisers.. what works and what doesn't. Player costs and stuff like that. As it evolved, it became much more. We started covering newsworthy tips and the response was so overwhelming, that we ran with it. The site has exceeded my dreams.

Question 2
You have been married for a little over a year now, What tips would you give to someone who is considering getting married.

Don't argue. My grandmother always told me that it takes two to argue. If there is something you do not agree with, stand your ground and be prepared to give some on your demands. If you can not evolve socially, stay single. In a relationship you have to know how to give and take. One thing I learned is to aim high and prepare to settle for a bit less. The higher you aim, the more likely your newlywed will think they won if you come down a bit on your demands.

I know this is against a few religions, but if you can... live with the person first. It's kind of a dry run for marriage. if you can handle her after you have lived with them for a year or two, then go ahead. If they annoy you or drive you crazy with the things they do or don't do, might want to evaluate how much they mean to you. Again, you either live with it and embrace their quirks and habits or you need to find someone else.

Finally, look at their mother and father. See who she is ultimately closer to... and then realize that if she is close to her mother, she will be like her mother. If she is closer to her father, then she will be more like her father. Keep this in mind when you are figuring forever. It's not an exact science, but it does lend some thoughts on what kind of person she will be once she gets married. They almost always will not be the same when you are dating. They will change some. Again, its about evolving.

Tune with ChompsQuestion 3
Whats the best part of being President of a Browns Backers Chapter?

The best part of being a BBW President is knowing that you are part of something larger than your own fandom. It's a great honor. I wish more Browns fans got involved. Its about giving back and doing what we can to promote the Cleveland Browns and help some very worthwhile charities in the area.

Question 4
Where do you see Browns 24/7 in 5 years? ten years?

WOW, interesting question. IN 5 years, I hope it is still the best kept secret within Browns fans. We have done very well in keeping the trolls and people of trouble at bay. Everyone really can express their own opinions without mass ridicule. I hope we continue to grow and be the overall choice of Browns fans everywhere. Ten years is a bit harder to figure out. I hope I am still doing this and we are the #1 fan favorite for Browns fans. I hope to someday be the official forums for the Browns. Like I said, aim high.

Question 5
Whats your occupation? and whats you DREAM JOB.

Well currently I am selling Ford, Mercury, and Lincoln's at Greg Sweet Ford in North Kingsville, OH. I have been here about 5 months. It's a pretty decent job, even though sales are slow right now. My dream job would be for me to be able to concentrate on this site and my others 24 hours a day and still be able to support my family. It takes a lot of work and sometimes, I do not have enough hours in the day or week.

Question 6
Outside of Sports and the internet (is there such a thing) What do you enjoy doing?

Well, I have been playing darts for 12 years, but I guess that is a sport, huh? I enjoy spending time with my family and working on projects around the house. I like to think I'm a pretty handy guy with a ton of knowledge in almost everything. Kinda of a jack-of-all-trades.

Question 7
Tell us something about you that is true, but most of us wouldn't believe.

That I am an ordained minister along with being a successful disc jockey. People who know that find it very weird. I do not act the typical minister type. You do not have to be stuffy to be a minister.

Another is that I have a pretty good singing voice. I have to be goated into singing usually by family and friends but once I am up there, it's on. Standing ovation.

Question 8
Favorite Browns Coach/Player

Favorite Browns Coach? Hmmm... I can only go with guys I have seen coach. Marty is probably #1, although I really enjoyed and liked Chris Palmer a lot. Did a few face to face interviews with him when I was in radio. Very knowledgable coach. I feel he got a raw deal here, but someone had to take the bumps. He knew what he wanted to do, but there were people that wouldn't let him do it his way. Which is probably why Butch wanted so much power and ultimately failed also. We have a good mix with Savage and Crennel, even though I am not a huge Romeo supporter. I'll give him his props... He is putting it together. Slowly.

Favorite Browns Player? I really loved Clay Matthews back in the day. Currently, I gotta go with Kellen Winslow. I know he is a fan favorite, but the guy just wants to win. Ya gotta love that about him. He plays through the pain and injuries to do what he do.

Question 9
Favorite Browns Memory

This one is really rough since I am horrible with past stats and stuff. There are some people that can remember years back and know what the clock and situation was... Not me. I am a tomorrow thinker. Last week was last week... what about this week.

So right now, my favorite Browns memory is the Phil Dawson kick that wasn't... then was. Shattering Ravens fan hearts everywhere. Can it get any better?

Question 10
Whats you favorite part of Browns 24/7?

My favorite part is the people. I tell people all the time that without them, none of this would be possible. They may not realize it, but it's 100% true. From the lurker that is afraid to register to the guy with 50 posts a day. There is something for everyone and I cherish them all. I have made a lot of great friends and met a lot of awesome people. One thing that separates me from others is that I will do whatever I can for almost anybody. Just ask and I will at least give you some advice, if I can not help.

Thank you for allowing myself to introduce myself.
