BROWNS SIGN OL REX HADNOT TO A TWO-YEAR CONTRACT
The Cleveland Browns have signed OL Rex Hadnot to a two-year contract, the club announced today.
Hadnot, 6-2 and 325 lbs., is a versatile offensive lineman who has played in 63 games, including 55 starts, during his four-year career with the Miami Dolphins. During his career, Hadnot has started 34 games at right guard, 19 games at center and two games at left guard.
“The Browns are fortunate to add another quality lineman to our existing group,” said Phil Savage, Cleveland Browns Senior Vice President and General Manager. “With his versatility and experience (55 starts at both center and guard), we feel great about having Rex on our team. He brings size, strength and has a physical style of play.”
Hadnot, 26, started 16 games at right guard last season with Miami. Hadnot was originally drafted by the Dolphins in the sixth-round in the 2004 NFL Draft. Hadnot has started each of the last three seasons for the Dolphins at either the right guard or center positions.
