Over many years of working with several special quarterback coaches, I have been fortunate to accumulate some thoughts on successful ways to develop your quarterback. Most of us you included begin the process with a fundamentals section in your playbook. What I would like to share with you is the Quarterback Fundamentals section directly from the 1999 Seattle Seahawks Offensive Playbook. It is presented basically in an outline form to allow me to cover and expand upon each element as time permits. I hope you find this to be a usable structure for your own presentation, with some room to personalize it to fit your situation (sorry, not a lot for you option guys!). Please feel free to contact me in if youre interested in discussing the section. Best of luck with your 2000 high school football season. I. Introduction A. Philosophy 1. Team 2. Head Coach 3.
