I know this is not exactly Browns news, but it does have some eye popping noteworthiness.  Mooch is the first coach to go... here is the news;

According to numerous sources, the Detroit Lions have fired HC Steve Mariucci. After his Thanksgiving Day debacle, GM Matt Millen has apparently had enough. In two-plus seasons as head coach of the Lions, Mooch compiled a record of 15-28. The Lions have also fired the offensive line coach and tight ends coach. No replacements have yet been named.
