BROWNS ANNOUNCE ROSTER MOVES

The Cleveland Browns have signed TE Paul Irons from the practice squad to the active roster and have waived RB Jason Wright, the club announced today.

Irons, 6-2 and 242 lbs., joined the Browns as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Florida State and has spent the entire season on the club’s practice squad.  During his collegiate career at Florida State, Irons totaled 16 receptions for 174 yards and one touchdown.

Career Transactions: Signed as an undrafted rookie free agent by Cleveland on April 29, 2005…Waived by Cleveland on Sept. 3, 2005…Signed by Cleveland to the practice squad on Sept. 4, 2005…Signed by Cleveland to the active roster on Dec. 16, 2005.

2005:  Spent the first 13 weeks of the regular season on the Browns’ practice squad.
