CLEVELAND -- He stormed the field, making an unexpected appearance during Sunday's Browns game. Tuesday, 24-year-old Nathan Mallett made a scheduled visit in court.
The Chippewa Lake man says the score of the game and his hatred of the Steelers lead him to hop the wall.
He says he was intoxicated, wasn't injured, and says he made a horrible decision.
"I'd just like to apologize to them, their organization for any alarm I may have caused," Mallet said.
"What made you do it?" he was later asked. "[There's] no reason," he replied. "The score was very upsetting."
His punishment includes banishment from Cleveland Browns Stadium for life. He'll be back in court next month.
